EMD SW1000 Top Screen for Athearn Bluebox Model – $6.50
You are looking a set of etched top screens for the Athearn Bluebox SW1000. This set allows the modeler to add etched screens to the Bluebox model bringing the detail on the model up to a higher level. The grilles require a slight fold down the center and two rounded folds on the edge of the long hood. We recommend using a metal straight edge and some rounded 1/8” wire to get the contour of the long hood edge. The material is stainless steel and is ridiculously sturdy compared to thin etched brass. You will not bend this part out of shape by accident.
