KV Models was formed in 1998 by modeler Scott Lupia. What started with a single product expanded into a large variety of products from engine details to scenic details. As Scott continues to model he continues to add to the KV Models product line. Some of the products we offer are because of suggestions from fellow modelers. The name KV Models (short for Keyser Valley Models) represents the beginning of the railroad history in Scott’s family. The Keyser Valley shops of the Delaware Lackawanna and Western railroad in Scranton, Pennsylvania were where the railroading in Scott’s family began. Scott’s Grandfathers, both from Scranton, began their railroad careers there. They were both responsible for Scott’s love of model railroading and later on, Scott’s career choice as a Locomotive Engineer. Scott has embraced his railroading heritage and carries on the railroading tradition – now through the manufacturing end of the hobby in addition to the profession of Locomotive Engineer.
