GE U33c, U36c, U34ch & C30-7 Top Radiator Screen – $6.50
This set works with the HO Atlas U33c/U36c/U34ch and C30-7. When applied to the radiator section it adds much needed see through screens to the top of the model which greatly enhances the appearance of the model. Doing this requires the modeler to cut out the screen section of the radiator cover. We suggest drilling pilot holes in the corners, removing the drilled material with an x-acto knife and then cutting the remaining material with a fine toothed razor saw. It is important to note that the Atlas model does have an incorrect width dimension to the screen. The screen is too wide bringing it to the very edge of the model near the curved edge. The KV models screen has the correct size screen so this will require the modeler to either remove all of the plastic molded screen detail and then rebuild with styrene or leave the last section of screen material in place on the model. Building direction will be available within the next few weeks. This part works in conjunction with the radiator cores also available from KV Models (KV506H, KV-507H and KV-508H). The cores are very visible once the screens are attached to the top of the model.
