DL&W Signal Relay Cabinet – Double – $6.75 (per cabinet)
This is a resin HO-scale DL&W signal relay cabinet. These cabinets could be found anywhere along the line between Hoboken and Buffalo in automatic block signal territory. The cabinets housed the relays and associated wiring for the signal system. Typically, a box would be placed where there was a signal or grade crossing signals. A double cabinet like this one would be located at a larger interlocking with multiple signals since the wiring would be more complex and require more hardware. The parts are cast resin and require less than a minute (typically) of cleanup with a sharp X-acto knife. The box would be painted black while the concrete mounting posts would be a very light colored concrete, almost white in color.
