EMD FL9 Rapido (Amtrak) Detail Set – $9.95

This set of HO Scale details is for the Rapido FL9 – Amtrak version.  The Amtrak version had a metal plate rear pilot and wide stirrups at the end of the carbody.  The set contains all of the necessary parts to model this.  The pilot plate has holes so you can relocate the coupler cut lever and MU hoses onto the pilot.  The MU hoses will need to be trimmed to fit within the boxes if you choose to add the boxes to the plate.  A bending jig is very useful for bending the stirrups as shown in the photos below.  As always, CA is the preferred glue for attaching the parts.
