EMD SW1200 (Rapido) Detail Set – $19.95

This set of details is for the HO scale Rapido SW1200.  It includes the front screen, front radiator shutters, radiator fan, top screens, radiator core and radiator core mounting plate.  Adding this set of details will require removal of the etched screens from the model and removal of the plastic from within the housings for those screens.  The radiator core plate fits under the long hood up against the inside of the shell.  There are posts which need to be removed for the headlight light block.  The light block was attached to the underside of the radiator core mounting plate with CA.  The radiator shutters are attached to the inside of the shell.  The shutters can be modeled opened or shut depending on whether you want to see the radiator fan or the season you model.  Colder weather would most likely have the shutters in the closed position.  The radiator fan is then attached to the back of the shutters.
