EMD SW1000/SW1500 Opened Cab Window Set – $6.50

 

This set replaces the molded plastic cab window frames in the Athearn SW1000 and SW1500 locomotive.  The plastic window frames are removed by the modeler and replaced with these window panels.  The result is a cab with opened cab windows with frames that show through the oblong windows on either side of the opened cab window.  We use .005″ clear styrene attached to the inside of the window frame for window glass.  This is a very effective way to model opened cab windows.
