EMD SD and GP Truck Mounted Sanding Brackets – $5.00
This is a set of truck mounted sanding hose brackets. The brackets are mounted to the underside of a truck below the journals. There are holes to allow the modeler to add nut/washer castings if so desired. The brackets hold the sanding hose directly in front of the wheel. We recommend a flexible sanding line to allow for ease of movement. We did it the hard way in our photos below and used phosphor bronze wire. While it did work out for us, it did cause unnecessary headache and frustration.
